We know that a lot of you are facing up to the realities of postponing your weddings and our hearts go out to you all. We send you all so much love and strength to get through these next few days and weeks.
To bring as much positivity to this situation as possible, we will be posting a weekly blog to highlight some of the most stunning and unique venues the South West has to offer along with incredible entertainment to compliment it. As the nights grow longer and the days grow warmer let’s escape reality for a few minutes and appreciate what a beautiful part of the world we live in.
From roaring coastlines to idyllic countryside as far as the eye can see, there really is no other place quite like the South West of England. Cornish beaches that stretch for miles or Dorset’s wonderfully green landscape, every backdrop you could wish for on your special day is covered.
We are not short of traditions either, if you are looking to embrace your surroundings and bring a little bit of local culture to your wedding, you will not struggle to find a theme. Whether it be Devon cream teas, strong cheeses from Cheddar or Cornish pasties and cider, any are sure to be a big hit with your guests.
With all of this packed into one diverse region, it’s clear to see why the South West is home to the most wonderful wedding venues and how with the right entertainment you can create a spectacular wedding day. It's hard to remember to be grateful at the moment but as you look outside and see the flowers start to bloom and the sun on your face, take a moment to remember just how beautiful our country is.
